ＪＯＨＮーーＣＨＡＰＴＥＲーー１．１−４．　　

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with God.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

太初（はじめ）に言（ことば）あり、言は神と偕（とも）にあり、言は神なりき。
この言は太初に神とともに在り。
萬（よろづ）の物これに由りて成り、成りたる物に一つとして之（これ）によらで成りたるはなし。
之に生命（いのち）あり、この生命は人の光なりき

ＪＯＨＮーーＣＨＡＰＴＥＲーー３．３．

Jesus answered and said to him.
“Most assuredly , I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

イエス答へて言ひ給ふ『まことに誠に汝に告ぐ、人あらたに生まれずば、神の國を見ること能はず』
