Barbate Harbor, Spain

Barbate is a small fishing port near the Gibraltar Strait.
It's not a famous resort, so there are not the immigration and customs.
But, in summer, the beach seems to get crowded with local people.

I was heading for the Gibraltar Strait directoly, but I've been there, because of high winds and waves.
Actually, I was waiting a bad weather gone by a "Heave-to" for two days, but I unavoidably decided to take shelter.
In the Barbate harbor, many cruising yacht were gathering to take shelter from a bad weather.
Fortunately or unfortunately, it was a first step on the European Continent.
